Why am I seeing a warning about accessibility settings?

Some accessibility settings on your device can change how Exodus appears on your screen. In certain cases, these settings may cause visual issues or affect how parts of the app display. This does not affect the safety of your wallet or your funds.

If Exodus detects a setting that may impact the app’s display, you may see a message in the settings screen recommending your device’s default display settings for best results.

To adjust your accessibility settings, follow the steps in the applicable guide below:

iOS

The exact steps can vary depending on your iOS version. The example below uses iOS 26.

  1. On the settings screen, if Exodus detects accessibility settings that might affect the app, you'll see a message that says Display Settings Changed. To use the recommended default settings for the best experience, tap View settings.

If you close the message, you can still update your settings later by manually opening the Settings app and continuing from step 4.

  2. This will take you to your Exodus app settings. Tap the back arrow.

  3. Tap the back arrow again to show the device Settings screen.

  4. Tap Accessibility.

  5. Tap Display & Text Size.

  6. Here, make sure the following settings are turned off:

    • a) Bold Text

    • b) Larger Text

    • c) Reduce Transparency

    • d) Increase Contrast

    • f) Classic Invert

    • g) Color Filters

  7. Tap the back arrow to return to the Accessibility screen.

  8. Tap Motion.

  9. Finally, make sure Reduce Motion is turned off.

Once these settings are turned off, the Display Settings Changed message will no longer appear in your Exodus wallet settings.
